HAZID, HAZOP, PHA, Bowties, LOPA etc. are conducted and evaluated against the corporate appetite for risk and any relevant statutory risk criteria.
Potentially hazardous scenarios (deviations, excursions or loss of control of hazards) are identified & the associated risks (with & without controls) are assessed with due consideration of:
- Causes, Threats or Initiating Events
- Consequences or Effects
- Controls, Barriers, Safeguards or Protection Layers/Measures
